I think IM integration would be a good idea.
It's probably kind of obvious but I haven't seen it posted yet ^^

Not so good idea, because the Persocom Project have its own IM like system over that the Persocoms from the users are connected together online. And there are too many IM Protocols out there (ICQ, AIM, MSN etc). Over an own IM like Protocol, i can add special functions for the Persocoms.

True, i can add IM support, but i think i better spend the time for other features. There enough IM Clients out there. But a idea where to wrote plugins e.g. for Miranda IM, e.g. to let react the Persocom to incoming messages.

I have to agree with Balmung on this... Too much to work with...

Ich stimme… zu Zu viel, zum mit zu arbeiten

Entschuldigen Sie bitte, Ich spreche Deutsches nicht... Tongue

The sentence was not bad german ^^
But you don't have to speak/write german, we both understand english very well and this is a german AND english forum.
Feel free to add more feature-ideas =)

Alright, I can see were the difficulties may be.

Maybe maybe it could be at least able to communicate with other chat services like MSN and ICQ even if they're not integrated into the system? It would be convenient for those who wish to talk to friends who don't have persocoms and don't have the RAM to run the normal chat + the persocom + internet etc...

Every IM service has its own user accounts, so you need an MSN account, an ICQ account etc. to wrote to other IM users. That makes such a easy solution impossible. The easiest way can you see at Miranda IM, but this is a complex software, too complex for a Persocom "feature".
